Before the formation of the association, many hostel and PG
owners faced pressure, threats, and lack of local support,
especially those operating away from their native regions. To
address these challenges, six founding members came together
to form a single, unified body to protect owners’ interests
and resolve industry-wide issues collectively.
Today, the association represents over 2,000 members managing
nearly 10,000 hostels and PGs across Tamil Nadu. Legally
registered under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act,
1975, we work closely with government and local authorities to
ensure safe, transparent, and peaceful business operations,
primarily across Chennai, Kanchipuram, Chengalpattu, and
Thiruvallur districts.
Committed leaders representing and safeguarding the interests of IT Hostel & PG Owners across Tamil Nadu
We offer Ordinary Membership and Elite Membership to suit different needs of hostel and PG owners. Both categories provide access to association support, guidance, and representation, with additional long-term benefits available under Elite Membership.
Members receive assistance in handling local body issues, inspections, licenses, and approvals. We also provide guidance on rent structures, EB charges, holidays, government declarations, and ensure fair and uniform industry practices through collective representation.
We ensure members follow mandatory standards such as valid licenses, CCTV, biometric systems where applicable, name boards, and resident registers. Being part of a registered association provides confidence, protection, and a strong collective voice for peaceful business operations.
